Southeastern Utah

Along the highway, we encountered Wilson Arch.
Arriving in Moab, Utah, we arranged to ride down the Colorado River in a raft. The river guide pointed out where a bald eagle hangs out on a cliff above the river.

In preparation for the big rapids (with names like Surprise, Big Hummer, Little Hummer, and Skull), we put on helmets, and we put the cameras in waterproof metal boxes. Your imagination will have to supply the pictures of the raft battling the billowing river and becoming swamped full of water.
